The Strategy

How the portfolio generates return

Each pillar carries its own entry logic, holding period and exit route. Together they smooth the return profile of a multi-asset book.

Pillar 01

Advanced Derivative Strategies

Hedged, model-backed positions

Systematic, research-driven derivative strategies built on hedged, model-backed positions. Zero speculative exposure. Every position is reviewed against predefined risk parameters and sectoral caps. The objective is consistent yield enhancement and downside protection.

  • Zero speculative exposure
  • Predefined risk parameters

Pillar 02

Pre-IPO Opportunities

6 to 12 months before listing

Access high-conviction businesses 6 to 12 months before public listing, at valuations below broad market discovery. Our framework evaluates fundamentals, promoter track record, sector tailwinds, and IPO readiness before any allocation decision.

  • 6 to 12 months pre-listing
  • Below broad market discovery

Pillar 03

Anchor & QIB Allocations

Entry before retail participation

Participate in quality main board and SME IPOs through anchor investor and QIB allocation routes. Entry before retail participation, at pricing based on fundamental merit rather than market sentiment.

  • Anchor and QIB routes
  • Priced on fundamental merit

Pillar 04

Research Based Equity

Bottom-up fundamental research

Long-term wealth creation through deep fundamental research. Bottom-up company analysis combined with top-down sector positioning, in a concentrated high-conviction portfolio with active monitoring and structured exit planning.

  • Concentrated, high conviction
  • Structured exit planning
Process

Our Investment Framework

Every allocation passes through the same six stages, in the same order.

  1. 01 / 6

    Research

Deep fundamental and sector analysis forms the foundation of every allocation decision.

  2. 02 / 6

    Investment Committee Review

All opportunities reviewed by the IC for alignment with fund mandate and risk parameters.

  3. 03 / 6

    Risk Assessment

Systematic quantification of downside scenarios, correlation risk and liquidity factors.

  4. 04 / 6

    Capital Allocation

Position sizing based on conviction, risk-reward dynamics and portfolio construction rules.

  5. 05 / 6

    Portfolio Monitoring

Active daily monitoring of positions against entry thesis, NAV, and target price bands.

  6. 06 / 6

    Exit Strategy

Multi-stage exit planning through listing gains, strategic sale, and market monetization.

Portfolio Construction

Risk controls come before the allocation

A multi-asset portfolio is only as good as the rules that constrain it. Ours are set at committee level, independently of deal sourcing.

Underwriting

Business model quality, sector tailwinds, financial health and promoter track record are assessed before valuation work begins. Audited financials are a prerequisite, not a preference.

Valuation discipline

Entry prices are benchmarked against comparable listed peers rather than the last private round, which is where most pre-IPO books get into trouble.

Concentration limits

Sectoral exposure caps and single position limits are set by the Investment Committee and apply before capital is committed.

The hedge book

Defined-risk derivative structures run against the equity sleeve. Their role is to cushion drawdowns and generate yield while primary positions mature.

Independent valuation

Unlisted holdings are valued in line with SEBI AIF requirements, with independent valuation of positions that have no observable market price.

Reporting

Investors receive regular statements covering NAV, portfolio attribution and transaction summaries, including the positions that did not work.

  • Can hold through the 1-year lock-in
  • Treat this as a satellite, not core, allocation
  • Want access before public market discovery

Not a fit if you

  • Need capital back on short notice
  • Cannot bear a loss of principal
  • Are looking for assured or guaranteed returns
  • Want daily liquidity or daily NAV
Investor Questions

Answered Plainly

  • The fund is open to resident Indian HNIs, family offices, corporate treasuries, institutions and eligible NRIs who meet the minimum investment threshold of ₹1 crore. Under SEBI AIF Regulations you should be able to bear the risk of loss of capital and should not require liquidity from this allocation.

  • Performance carry is earned only on returns above a 12.5% per annum hurdle. Below that level the manager receives the 2.5% management fee and no carry. Above it, the split on the excess is 20% to the manager and 80% to investors.

  • The fund is open ended with a 1-year hard lock-in. Exits are planned across multiple stages through listing gains, strategic sale and market monetization.

  • No. Investments in Alternative Investment Funds involve significant risk, including the possible loss of principal. Past performance does not guarantee future results and no return is assured.

  • Valuation follows SEBI AIF requirements, including independent valuation of unlisted holdings. Investors receive regular communication covering NAV, portfolio attribution, transaction summaries and direct access to the investment team.

  • Sectoral exposure caps and position limits are set by the Investment Committee before capital is committed, and the derivative sleeve is run as a hedge against the equity book rather than as a directional bet.
